The topic of women, female and by extension into the realm of ideas, qualities, chosen roles, all things glossed over as feminine is so fundamentally central, both to life as we know it, and to each individual's experience. How could I not yearn to write about what is, inevitably, such a very large, if not defining, part of who I am and why and how I am here? How could I not know that such an essay would be an inconclusive series of thoughts, where the continum of printed text could hardly represent the paradoxically extreme and simultaneously reverberating positions of my subjective specificity and ideas about women, all women, everywhere, at all times?
