It happens that it's hard being a woman. Yet, one would not want to be a man. Even as she comes trammeled with baggage from the womb, bears it through girlhood, and into adult life – a woman learns to walk the rope, and once in an incandescent while, she flies.
And every flight is engineered and fuelled with her innate spirit and strength. Hers alone.
A culmination of what she is and wants, and desires to be. We celebrate these women. Women who have chosen not to travel the inured terrain of prescribed memories, of life that has been scripted for them, but have chosen to write their own lines, play their own roles and ways of being.
