Dan Eldon, modern-day Buddha, brave young, photo-journalist. His compassion and respect for humanity came from this pursuit. Dan Eldon lived more in twenty-two years than most do in eighty. He traveled through four continents, led expeditions across Africa, wrote a book, worked as a graphic designer in New York, made a film, and was a respected photo-journalist for Reuters, helping trigger an outpouring of international aid with his powerful and disturbing images of Somalia's brutal famine-all before his sudden, violent death in Somalia. This, is a tribute to Dan. To a spirit invincible.
