During one of my travels in Punjab last year, when I worked on a project documenting the return of normalcy to the troubled State, I heard Baba Balkar Singh. The story of this hard-core terrorist turned reformist fascinated me as he was doing the amazing work of rehabilitating children, widows and others impacted by the violence during the process of the Khalistan Liberation Movement.
