REMCO CAMPERT: Born in 1929, Remco is one of the best-known contemperory Dutch poets. He belongs to a group called the "vijftigers" or 50s-generation poets who, after the sober years of post war reconstruction, argued for an open experimental approach. Campert is still very active as a reader of his own work.
