“Amma, don’t forget to pack the sevai, too,” said Anwar, getting into his school shorts.
“Why?” asked Ammi, sitting by the choolah, a small wood fire for cooking. “Wasn’t it Id yesterday? So my friends will demand sevai from me as usual, that’s for sure!” replied Anwar.
“Oh My! How did I forget? Wait just a few minutes,” said Ammi softly laughing to herself.
Ammi quickly cooked the sevai, a sweet dish made with semolina, and packed his lunch-box. Anwar stepped out of his hut with a beaming face.

The kids were just gathering for prayers at the school. The bell rang. Prayers said, the kids rushed into their class. Four hours later, the bell rang for lunch.
